Manchester City just couldn't seem to find their groove when it came to actually playing football today at Stamford Bridge, and there are some obvious changes that their manger must attend to. Hopefully they can fix those problems qiuckly, becuase in one weeks time they'll be home to an extremly skilled and cocky AC Milan team who just came off a blowout, defeating Manchester United 4 - 1.
Defender Fabio Cannavaro has been suspended for one match after he tackled AC Milan forward Cristiano Ronaldo from behind. The referee, however, didn`t call it even though he was standing about 10 yards away. After the game the IFC reveiwed the tackle and decided that they would suspend Cannavaro and make sure that referee Alex Smith never refed another Champs League game. "What he did was completely awful and will not be tolerated in this league." said IFC co-owner Josh Gallant of Cannavaro`s tackle.
Manchester City was clearly missing their suspended defender Fabio Cannavaro as they fall 5-3 to Arsenal at The Football Ground. "Arsneal have been on their A game recently, they are starting to seem untouchable." said City striker Sergio Aguero. His statement was completely true. Arsenal's brilliant offensive efforts have resulted in 2 consecutive victories with 5 goals or more. "their defense really isn't all that great," said City Midfielder Iniesta, "If someone can find a way to shut down their offense and maybe pop some goals in at the other end, than i guarentee they'll beat them. Arsenal is not the only team looking to compete in this league, if they want it, they'll have to earn it." In other news, Manchester City midfielder Iniesta has been suspended for a game due to to many yellow cards. Manchester City are going to have to discipline themselves quickly if they want this league.

POST GAME REPORT
Chelsea v.s Manchester City
Manchester City drop their season opener to a seperior Chelsea squad, the only piece that held them together during the course of the game was keeper, Ikor Casilias, and when asked about his thoughts about the game, his responce was purely negative and really expressed his thoughts towards what needs to be done at Manchester City. He told us, "Plain and Simple, our offense AND defence were invisible, it was almost like we were Casper the ghost, invisble, can't do anything right... I can only do so much before something else needs to be done, and in this game that thing was called "play"." Clearly you see the disgust Casilas has towards how the mangement of his club is right now, and we would have to hope it changes if Manchester City wants a chance at anything this season.
Manchester City v.s AC Milan`
"AC Milan simply didn`t show up to play today" said Manchester City manager Mark Hughes. That was, most certainly, what happened. "The Italian squad seemed lifeless and bored on defense" stated Manchester City goalkeeper Iker Casillas. "However, I knew I would have to step up my game. Anytime you see Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi attacking for a club, you know you`re going to face a lot of shots. I stopped almost all of them. The one that did go in was a complete fluke, it wouldn`t have happened had my defenders been doing their job properly." Manchester City are hoping to continue this streak and beat English side Arsenal next week.
Manchester City v.s Arsenal
Manchester City lost this game because of another wonderful effort from Arsenal. Arsenal have scored 11 goals in the past 2 games and don't seem to be slowing down. Every one of these goals has come from either Striker Miroslav Klose or Midfielders TIm Chaill and Kaka. "My team was really not all there today," Said Manchester City goalkeeper Iker Casillas. "I did all i could but my defenders were slacking off, they knew they'd have to pick up their game when facing the offensive abilities of Kaka, Klose, and Cahill, but they didn't. Our offense was a whole different story, they were just completely invisible. Sergio Aguero netted a couple but he only got them because of fast counter attacks. If we want to win this league we have to start showing it." You could see he was disgusted with his team. Says manager Mark Hughes "Iker needs a serious attitude change, he has to learn how to get along with his mates."
