Manchester United are off to a slow start, however there were great efforts shown by a few individuals agaisnt AC Milan, John Carew and Patrice Evra, proved that they were committed to the club and willingly to fight even when odds were against them. Teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic told one of our reporters, "Yes, today these two were the heart of our team and we must strive to be more like them." Will the Manchester United squad be able to be more like Carew and Evra, well fans at Old Trafford sure hope so, or Manchester United may slip down the standings of The Champs League pretty quick. 

Manchester United ended the game Monday with a convincing 4-1 W. Patrice Evra once again put in everything he has into this team to provide a quality backline and John Carew once again showed why he has a starting position on the team. Truly these two must be the backbone of the Manchester United 1st team, with two great showings. Fabregas also proved to everyone this game that he deserves to wear the "C" by giving a solid team effort, and a simple but effective game style. Manchester United will need these three guys to come up big again next week at Stamford Bridge agaisnt an extremly well organized Chelsea side.

POST GAME REPORT

AC Milan v.s Manchester United

Manchester suffer a devastating blow at the San Siro as they fall to AC Milan 4 - 1, Manager Sir Alex Fergeson commented after the game, saying "It's only the start of the season, of course we have some things to sort out, but going up agaisnt the biggest club in the world to start isn't always the easiest thing to do, they are extremly experienced and are very well balanced. You wait and see, by the next time we play AC Milan things WILL turn out differntly." Manchester United will have to pick up their socks if they are going to be able to deafeat Inter at Old Trafford next week.

Manchester United v.s Inter

MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better showing by the Manchester United squad Monday at Old Trafford, they got to the early lead thanks to John Carew, and never looked back. They ended up dominating an obviously defensivly weaker Inter side, putting shot after shot towards Petr Cech. Wesley Sneijder came in around the 60th minute and by the end of the game plotted two goals, helping Manchester United to their 4-1 victory.
