Fans are estatic as the season is finally ready to blast off. Toronto FC will be looking for some calm and composed striking abilities to come from their number one, Didier Drogba. With his unbelievable ending to last season playing with Chelsea, under the mangament of Guus Hiddick, the fans are obviously expected great things from the 30 year old. Will Drogba crack under all the pressure or can he bring a victory to the Candian squad and the fans to really make the start of the season a blast off?
Unfortunetly for Toronto FC fans Drogba didn't really show up today, finishing with one assist his game was generally poor, however the power of Michael Ballack, Andreo Pirlo and Allasandro Del Piero Toronto FC at least made a fight for the three points late agaisnt Inter. Hopefully Didier Drogba will find his groove in time for next weeks fixture agaisnt Arsenal.
Finally Didier Drogba had a great showing and the team... didn't. Didier Drogba had a great game along with strike partener Del Piero, however the rest of the team performed like a bunch of canadian geese. They had no confidence or will to fight. The substitutes Stephen Ireland and Ze Roberto were deffinetly good desicions as they both notched one assist each. Toronto FC have relized that they will not be able to rely on one or two good performances but they need the entire team to play well together.

POST GAME REPORT
Inter v.s Toronto FC
Toronto FC fall to Inter 4-3 after an epic finish, the fans at the San Siro enjoyed a thriller containing all seven goal in the second half and five goal wtihin the last 15 minutes of the game. Unfortunetly for Tornoto FC the late 88 minute goal by Pirlo didn't get them the victory, but he said after the game, "The way we came back in the last 15 minutes, shows us that we can compete with any other team in this league, and i believe if we can play the full game next time we will be on the winning side." Pirlo and the rest of the Toronto FC squad seem to be in good spirits and are looking forward to next week when they square off against Arsenal.
Toronto FC v.s Arsenal
Toronto FC had another strong offensive effort led by Didier Drogba and Del Piero, however once again their downfall was their defence. John Terry really needs to start to take hold of the defence and control them, with his experience he should be able to command of his teammates more effectivly, which would cause more organization within the back line. When asked the question if he will begin to command his team, he replied, "As you and I can see whatever I am doing and what the team is doing right now isn't working, so whatever the problem is, the team and I have to find a way to fix it.
